Miworth Facebook Page
In summer 2017, Facebook was a useful tool to communicate about the three spot fires that started in Miworth. Post the location of a spot fire on the Facebook page, or call a neighbour and ask them to post. All residents are invited to join the Miworth Community & Association Facebook page. |
3 Horn Blasts
If immediate help is needed in the community (spot fire, accident, etc.) alert residents with three blasts on a car horn or air horn, repeated at 5-second intervals. Residents who feel able and willing may volunteer to help. This method of communication is useful if a person can't get to a phone or if they can't reach anyone by phone. |
